Terms of Service

1. Services

Strite's Lawn Care provides professional lawn care and landscaping services including lawn mowing, hedge and trim work, aeration and overseeding, mulching and stone bed installation, cleanups and leaf removal, and snow removal in the Hagerstown, Maryland area.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • Free estimates are provided for all services.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided.
  • Final pricing may vary if property conditions differ from those observed during the estimate.
  • Recurring service pricing is subject to change with 30 days written notice.

3. Scheduling and Access

  • Service dates are scheduled based on availability and weather conditions.
  • Customer must provide reasonable access to the service area.
  • Pets must be secured during service visits.
  • We are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, irrigation systems, or invisible fencing.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, check, and electronic payment.
  • Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur a late fee.
  • Recurring service customers may be set up on automatic billing.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • One-time services: Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Recurring services: Provide 7 days written notice to cancel ongoing service agreements.
  • Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

6. Liability

  • Strite's Lawn Care carries general liability insurance.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property, structures, or landscaping.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by hidden obstacles, underground utilities, or debris not visible at ground level.
  • Customer is responsible for removing personal items, toys, and pet waste from service areas before scheduled visits.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a service, contact us within 48 hours and we will return to correct the issue at no additional charge.

8. Weather and Force Majeure

Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather, including rain, storms, extreme heat, or snow. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Strite's Lawn Care and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and resolved in Washington County, Maryland courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
